Purpose of the Blog

Welcome to my Weblog (blog). I'll be using this blog to post to as my trip to South Africa progresses, so that my family and friends can pull it up and read whenever they want, at their leisure. Ain't technology great? (OK, I'm a geek. Sometimes. Like, now.) I will try to keep the content interesting as I go along, and easy to read. I'll be putting together online photo albums too, so you can see as well as read about my trip. I leave for South Africa on July 7, 2004 and will return to the States on Feb. 22, 2005.
